Mavica FD7

In mid-2020, I impulsively bought a Sony Mavica FD7 and instantly fell in love with it. The Mavica FD7 is a charming little 0.3 MP camera that uses 3.5-inch floppy disks for storage. Thanks to the relatively small file size of the pictures, each 1.44 MB disk can hold around 20 to 25 images. Inspired by this, I created a WordPress page called Mavica FD7 Blog to write and share photo journals. However, after publishing just two posts, I lost interest and shifted my focus to other pursuits.

In 2024, I started thinking about creating a blog to share random writings and photos, until I realized I already had one. So, I decided to rename and redesign the Mavica FD7 Blog and relaunched it after four years of inactivity.

By October 2024, I launched a Neocities site called Iskra to serve as a hub for all my projects. Moving forward, I plan to publish my writings and photo journals here, as the Iskra WordPress site is now dormant.

In April 2025, I added a lot of new content and extensively revamped the site. The redesign includes a separate About page, which was moved from the landing page, a bookmarks page, and a resources & projects page. Additionally, I’ve added a comments section to the blog posts.
